CoN Monastery – Lho, Nepal

The CoN Monastery in Lho, Nepal, was built in 1987 by architect Desmond Abbot to house the monks of the Order of the Nellians. These monks dedicate their lives to the Church of Nellius by studying, making art and evangelism.

Abbot Cornelius Nachmacher is the head of the monastery since 1992. Nachmacher studied Theology at Harvard University and Art History at Oberlin College. He has written several books about new religious movements (NRM) that are considered to be groundbreaking.
